Welcome to the drainage section of northervirginiacontractor.com This section of the site is dedicated to our services for both the interior and exterior of a home or commercial property as it pertains to water problems. Please take a few moments to learn how we go about identifying, correcting and repairing the damage from them.

The last few years have seen intense periods of rainfall, the result of which is a soaked the water table around the region. When there is an abnormal amount of water in the ground pressure starts to build, specifically hydrostatic pressure, and numerous problems can and will result from that. Simply put, when there is too much water for the ground to absorb it will find a place to go, either on the surface (pooling water), where gravity takes it (run-off and flooding) or where it can push into space such as crack in the wall of a home, (foundation damage). Identifying and knowing how to fix water problems in each unique circumstance is a specialty for us and we have a dedicated drainage division to do just this kind of work.

Services offered - Phoenix's drainage division service offerings include French Drains, gutters and downspouts, drywells, floor and channel drains, driveway drains, retaining walls, hardscape installations in concrete and sand-set, foundation repair, masonry repairs, interior and exterior waterproofing, dry river beds, natural berms and swails, drain and collection boxes, emitter valves, parging, interior drain tile and sump pumps, battery back-up systems, water emergency clean-up, water damage repair, window well replacement, egress window drain systems and much more. Who we are - There are different levels of Contractors in the State of Virginia, ranging from "Class C", the lowest, to "Class A", the highest. There are exponentially greater requirements in knowledge and experience required for each level of certification. We are proud to the holders of a Class A Contractor's License with additional certifications for, "Building (BDL)", "Home Improvements (HIC)", and "Landscaping (LSC)".
